New games coming to XBOX ONE and SERIES X

Hello readers. I just caught the Summer Games Fest, and there were new, big titles releasing for XBOX consoles now and later. Let's go over them.

HALO INFINITE: This may be the best Halo to ever exist. It is going to be an open world game! As said after the trailer, the world map is going to be several times bigger than Halo 4 and 5 combined. It will run 4K at 60 FPS, even with this massive world. There are new gun designs also. The classic Assault Rifle has a new design and the Pistol has the design from Halo 2. There is also a new grappling hook item that acts the same way here that it does in the Batman: Arkham games. You can use this grappling hook to attach to enemies, pull yourself towards them, and melee. You can also hook them towards you and grab items with this new grappling hook. All new items for this all new game.

PSYCHONAUTS 2: As someone who didn't play the first game, I can't really explain anything going on here. There was a lot of strange, eye bursting events going on through that trailer, but it did look interesting. The game looks beautiful, and in 4K textures it will be one of the best looking games of the year. From the minor gameplay seen in the trailer, it will be an action/puzzle platformer like the first game. Fans of the series, keep your eyes out for more news on this game. This game is set to release in 2020.

GROUNDED: The trailer started out acting like it was going to be a legendary title, but just made a joke about waiting for Cyberpunk 2077, which was unexpected and funny. We didn't see much, but it is going to be an online survival game releasing in early access July 28, less than a week from now, for XBOX ONE and Steam. You are near the size of lice, where even a little spider to us it bigger than an Elder Scrolls spider to them. It looks like an interesting game, and I may have to give it a try when it comes to Steam. The full release date is set for 2021

PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2: This is a game that has been anticipated for a long time. To celebrate this games 20th anniversary. That's right, 20 years ago you could play Phantasy Star Online on your Dreamcast, and a little later you could play on GameCube, XBOX (the original), and Windows PCs. Unfortunately, the servers are only online on PC now, and there aren't many players still online. Phantasy Star Online 2 though, is available now for PC and XBOX ONE free to play! This game will also support cross play between the two consoles. I will be trying this game later today, so I will see you in the world of Phantasy Star! (Download here)

STATE OF DECAY 3: As the last game did not do so well, I don't know why they are making a new game. From what I know, State of Decay 1 was a decent game. We saw a woman scare a wolf away, followed a trail of blood, and saw a zombie deer eating the wolf. The deer roars at the woman, and the title appears. We don't know a release date yet, but keep your eyes peeled (if you even care).

FABLE: There was a fairy flying around, she goes next to a flower, and a frog eats her. The camera goes up and shows a kingdom far off, and FABLE comes to the screen. It isn't clear whether this would be a reboot or a fourth title in the series, but that is all that was shown. As a big XBOX game, this was a big surprise for fans of the series. Keep an eye on this one, or both!

HELLO NEIGHBOR 2: The first game was a masterpiece. I didn't think the game could get any better, but it does in this trailer. I implore you to watch the trailer.

That's it for the big games announced. There were tons of more games shown, so take a look here. Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and subscribe to the newsletter so you don't miss the next post.
